Coleccion Amalita —one of the main cultural institutions in Buenos Aires— is opening an exhibition featuring over 350 works by Alfredo Londaibere, created between 1975 and 2015, most of them never before shown. This extensive body of work reflects the artist’s prolific practice and highlights an intimate aspect, the expression of his subjectivity and non-binary desire.
Alfredo Londaibere (1955–2017) was a central figure in the influential art scene that emerged around the Centro Cultural Rojas in Buenos Aires during the 1990s. In 2019, the Museum of Modern Art of Buenos Aires dedicated a major anthological exhibition to his work.
