Organized in collaboration with the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía in Madrid, the retrospective exhibition of Fernanda Laguna, Mi corazón es un imán, 1992–2025, unfolds across levels 1 and -1 of MALBA, the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires.
Fernanda is one of the most influential figures in Argentine art of recent decades. Her artistic practice—both diverse and undisciplined—finds beauty in the everyday and blurs the boundaries between life and creation. This exhibition offers the most comprehensive review of her work to date through 200 pieces—paintings, drawings, collages, embroideries, sculptures, installations, and videos—alongside notebooks, books of poetry and novels, and personal photographic material.
The following activities have been scheduled by the museum:
Wednesday, April 1, 7:00 PM. Level -1
SXLXS and SXLXS — Roundtable on editorial projects and self-managed spaces
A conversation about independent publishing spaces and processes.
Monday, April 6, 6:00 PM. Auditorium
Belleza y felicidad. Autobiography of Friendship.
