La menor resistencia

INFO
On the Upper Level, Andrés Aizicovich, Leopoldo Estol and Liv Schulman present installations of a performative nature, which refer to key issues of contemporary paradigms such as the circulation of money or productive and reproductive forces, having the notion of entropy as a link between the pieces. These three artists are behind the self-published art newspaper El Flasherito, devoted to reflecting upon the local art community. In Liv Schulman’s non-fiction film The Disappearance, the artist uses monies obtained from an art prize to travel to the Triple Border (the point where Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay meet) and circulate between the three adjoining towns changing the money from Pesos to Reales to Guaranies, until it disappears due to the fees charged by change agencies. In both Aizicovich and Estol’s works the audience is invited to perform the pieces either by pushing a hard pedal which makes a world globe rotate or by playing an electric guitar with on-off buttons that activate several home appliances.
