Juan Becú has worked with curator Lara Marmor to conceive this exhibition consisting in four large paintings which condense Becú’s most recent pictorial explorations. Becú (Buenos Aires, 1980) among the most a versatile and bold painters of his generation in Argentina, has drawn from the history of painting, pop, and his subjective states to configure his works . The pieces in this exhibition depart from quick notation drawings on his diaries, which are enlarged and act as an affirmation of his expressionistic, exuberant standpoint in regards to painting.
