bio
The artist’s practice revolves around the creation of collective narratives based on the study of different models of collaboration, particular to a given context. Starting of alliances between different actors, actions are built collectively to
formulate responses to a particular social situation, while encouraging the emergence of poetic fictions that can expand the scope of possibilities.
García Vázquez is a founding member of the artist collective Rosa Chancho (together with
Osías Yanov, Javier Villa and Mumi), active in Buenos Aires since 2005, whose reflection has been the mutation of identities in a collaborative structure and the dissolution of individuals within group work.

Lyon Biennale, 2019; “Museo Ocasional de un Paisaje Increíble” together with Ana Vogelfang,
for Bienalsur 2021 and “Yo es Otro” commissioned by the Van abbemuseum, between 2011 and 2016.
