The 11th Berlin Biennale, conceived by curators Agustín Pérez Rubio, Lisette Lagnado, María Berríos and Renata Cervetto as a series of exhibitions and events, has reached its final iteration, Epilogue, in which Osías Yanov presents a collaborative, participatory piece focused on sound. Yanov, who also developed an installation for Experience 3 of the biennial, has worked with the same group of performers he directed in Choreographies of Salt at Faena Art Center. Listening Service can be accessed at https://escuchasion.space
Yanov invites the audience to participate in Listening Service by booking a time to be contacted by one of the “Mermaids”, interactions can be arranged in English, Spanish or Portuguese. Yanov also presents a sound installation based on Clarice Lispector’s The Egg and the Hen at the biennial’s physical location (image below).
