During the first weeks of quarantine, the gallery spontaneously and quickly organized two episodes of the Teorías Conspirativas Festival (Why is happening to us, what’s happening to us?). A true performance festival produced in a few days and from the confinement in the houses, based on creative improvisation, humor, a sense of community and vital resistance to difficult circumstances.
They participated with brilliant and often hideous theories: Raúl Flores, Amadeo Azar, Cecilia Palmeiro, Laura Isola, Ana Tiscornia and Liliana Porter, Bruno Dubner, Lolo and Lauti, Marcela Sinclair, Javier Villa, Vivi Tellas, Zoe Di Rienzo, Lux Lindner, Alberto Passolini, Amalia Amoedo, Laura Bilbao, Osías Yanov, Juan Becú, Florencia Hana Ciliberti and Adriana Bustos.
More than two thousand people came to witness the Instagram live, the winning theories voted by the public were those of Marcela Sinclair and Adriana Bustos. The metaphorical meaning of the word “pangolin” was also voted.
